The DandyLionesses: Christine Ayling, Wendy Coogan, Angie Maksymetz and Susan Picard

Christine Ayling is the glue that holds these events together. She opens her home for planning sessions, offers up heartfelt guidance to keep us on track, and most importantly, adds her angelic harmonies and vocals to so many songs.  A veteran of several Grande Prairie choirs, she performs with the DandyLionesses and Susan Picard and Friends.

Wendy Coogan is a gifted songwriter and soulful singer. She has been performing music in the Peace Country for the last few years, lending her talents to various causes. In 2004 she released her first CD "the wind" and in 2006 she joined the DandyLionesses. Her great guitar playing and golden voice a great addition to the group.

Angie Maksymetz is a woman of many talents.  A songwriter with a passion and rapier wit that speaks to the value and importance of women;  a talented multi-instrumentalist with a great understanding of musical theory and a keen eared recording engineer. Angie lends her talents to several other musical ensembles including: Welfare Jer and the PayDay$, and The Stray Crows.

Susan Picard has been performing since she was a child singing with her family as they worked together in the cow barn, later appearing at local talent shows and eventually graduating to folk clubs, festivals and soft seat venues. She has played in numerous musical configurations and has recorded CD's of original music as well as having songs on three other musical compilations.  An award winning teacher she has performed music at educational conferences with her musical partners in Susan Picard and Friends.
